Take action for bees. Share your support with #dontkillmybuzz.
$5 for every t-shirt sold in our new #dontkillmybuzz collection supports bumblebee conservation efforts of the Xerces Society. These native pollinators play a vital role in our food supply and the health of our ecosystems. Sadly, more than one quarter of North American bumblebees face some degree of extinction risk. In 2017, the once-common rusty patched bumblebee became the first federally endangered bee species in the continental U.S. We must make big changes to reverse the alarming population declines and help these big, buzzy bees thrive once again.
We’ve proudly donated more than $30,000 to support bumblebee conservation efforts of the Xerces Society, a science-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect the natural world through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats. Core programs include focus areas of species conservation, protecting pollinators and reducing harm to invertebrates from pesticide use. A formal petition filed by the Xerces Society in 2013 led to securing federal protections for the rusty patched bumblebee under the U.S. Endangered Species Act, and petitions for other at-risk bumblebees are currently in review.
